 How do I get information about what is going on locally!?  

Go to the new web page for the Louisville Peace Action Community!  It has current alerts, information about groups and events including vigils, rallies, and other opportunities to work for peace.

 The most efficient tool we have at our disposal is email.  To get on the local Fellowship of Reconciliation list send a note to [email protected].  Another large email list, Peace and Community Unity which sends emails relating to peace actions and events.  To get added to the list, send an email to  [email protected]

What if I don�t get email or I�d like to talk with a real person?

What are some good sources of information about the current state of  the world?

• http://www.truthout.org/  A fine place to get news and excellent writing.  They send a daily newsletter as email to make it easy.
• http://www.internationalanswer.org/  The main organization planning national mobilizations and protests including the DC March on October 26.

• http://www.unitedforpeace.org/  An extensive listing of peace activities and events (Global Exchange)
